Today, we celebrate Cinco de Mayo which for us is a day to DRINK!!! But on this day in 1862 that the Mexican army defeated the French forces in the Battle of Puebla. Tonight, I'm super excited b/c Kristen and I are going to see the Nats take on my favorite team, the Atlanta Braves. Maybe we'll be able to get on TV tonight or possibly catch a foul ball since we are on the first base side, lower level, about 17 rows back. I grew up a HUGE Braves fan being as I attended many, many games at the Diamond which is the home of the Richmond Braves and they were the closest team to me throughout my life in Richmond. Hopefully, Hanson & Heyward can pull off the big win tonight! If not at least I'll still be able to get my drink on while enjoying the gorgeous weather as well as a half-smoke from Ben's Chilli Bowl.
